Aunt Janine came to the rescue again this week to watch Elliott for a few days during another gap in daycare coverage. Elliott loves hanging out with her, and they are great buddies. Case and point - a text conversation between us on Tuesday:
Me: How's my kid? I wish I were hanging out with you guys...
Janine: We had fun. He's sleeping now. He liked kissing/eating my nose. It seemed to be a fun game we both enjoyed:)
Crazy kids, both of them. In a good way.
Tuesday night was so beautiful that we decided to take a mini-vacation with mai tai's on the beach at the Shoreline Cafe.
Elliott shared a plate of nachos with us, and enjoyed every bit - the beans, chicken, and chips covered with cheese. He's turning into a good little eater these days. He even likes to share. Here he is feeding me a piece of chicken...

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
A few bonus pics for you - I love his little Boo Boo Records onesie. Steve and I picked it up in San Luis Obispo on our mini-vacation to Cambria while I was still pregnant. It says "Be Independent" on the back.
Elliott continues to enjoy crawling into bed with Reese. I think Reese has resigned himself to being continually loved on by the little guy - he makes a good big brother.
